Aiming for the best

It’s not easy fitting everything into our busy lives and it seems a common tale that health and fitness comes behind our work, our home and all the other commitments.

Don’t have the time, don’t have the energy or motivation, you’re reading this and starting to think about your health. That’s a start.

What do you want? Wish those upper arms were more toned? Wish walking upstairs didn’t make you breathless ? Wish you felt fitter, stronger, lost a clothes size?

I will tailor your workout plan to YOUR personal needs.

Health concerns

If you’ve any health concerns, obviously you must seek medical advice first, before starting any new exercise. If your GP says you can start to exercise, then I will ensure that we start slowly. I’ve previously worked with clients with a whole range of various objectives so go on take that initial step and contact me to set your goals.

Getting the most from your sessions

In your first session, which is free, we will talk to discuss your goals and to discover what you want to achieve, then a gentle workout to understand your current level of fitness. As for content, most people want some cardio vascular work, as it is important for weight loss, general fitness and of course, strengthening the all important heart muscle.

I will walk you through your warm up (well, not exactly walk, there will be a little jogging, and don’t forget it’s all at your pace).

After the cardio workout, I’ll slow it down to some toning exercises, so that you catch your breath and hardly notice how many different muscle groups have been worked, before switching back to some cardio again, if that’s what you want. I always pay close attention to your posture and positioning and explain what I am doing, but you’ll soon learn that I welcome questions, I am keen to make sure the sessions work for you.

I also like to use the first session to make sure you can see me via Zoom, and I can see you and that you are confident logging in etc.

Towards the end of each session we will cool down. I need to ensure that all worked muscles have had enough stretching before you head off and continue with your day.

When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us become better, too.
